This petition aims to give the board the opportunity to make the dress-code rules more specific, especially regarding hair. Currently, the rules are based on the staff's subjective judgments of "attention-attracting". The opportunity to re-examine the handbook would allow students' attire to be judged in a fair manner. Upon analyzing current events, the rules are enforced in a sexist way, and because of its vagueness, allows unfair penalizing.
