Bring Back the Old Interlochen Logo

Bring Back the Old Interlochen Logo
The Issue
Interlochen Center for the Arts has represented a home away from home for many of its students, whether the environment were utilized as a school campus throughout the fall and spring semesters or as a nurturing camp throughout the summer. The institution's old logo featured a graphic of the three primary colors of pigment (blue, yellow, red) that represented the diversity in thought of the talented student body that it housed while offering a constant to represent the tradition of its legacy. ICA/IAA's new logo may appear modernized to represent the 'intersecting pathways, relationships, and experiences' of the student body but it fails to capture the life of the campus in which art lives. Let's bring back the old logo which we all (internationally) know and love. I mean, above all, shouldn't Interlochen, an arts school, have a visually beautiful logo (which clearly is not this new logo)?
