The University of North Texas has a huge film department. The media arts program has 1,300 undergraduate students enrolled, but has limited screenwriting courses and even more limited in available spots in those courses. UNT only offers 3 screenwriting courses past the required 2010 writing course, with each class only having around 13-14 spots a piece. Many media arts students at UNT need to develop their script writing skills for their future in the industry. As students, we request for the faculty to add more spots to existing courses or add more classes. Thank you.
