I’m seeking public interest in having an 8 ball pool hall in Dalby for all ages.  I compete weekly during the year and I have made new friends, built my confidence, helped my mental health improve, learnt new skills.

Due to restrictions in local venues for under 18s to compete in pool due to restrictions of being in an area of gambling and alcohol access, they are unable to compete.

It'd be a great idea to have a pool hall for all ages. In Toowoomba I  have seen all ages compete in 8 ball pool in a local bowls club. My 2 children have shown an interest in 8 ball pool and will play for fun.

The benefits of having a pool hall will be : keep youth off the streets, give confidence to all ages, possibly lead to a career in competing for state, national and international, make new friends, reduce youth crime, assist in social skills. 

Maybe Western Downs regional Council could look into this further and assist in making it happen for Dalby. Please share this petition with your friends and family.
