Insulin Saves Lives

The Issue

To the Insulin  Industry Including but not limited to Eli Lilly, Novo, Nordisk, and to Congress, and the Federal Drug Administration>

Why are you not concerned about the insulin shortage for residence in the United States. I have several family members that have type 1 Diabetics and for the past year these insulin shortages have effected them.

Are you choosing money from weight loss drugs over the health of a diabetic?

After reading and studying the reasons behind the shortage of this very important drug, money seems to be the number one reason.
What about the diabetic that will lose limbs, their kidneys, eye sight, and their very lives. You obviously have never watched a family member lose their eye sight, while trying to support a family, I have. You don't seem to care about those that will have to have an amputation of a limb or as I stated their life. But we do!!!!

It is time for the citizens to call your hand and that of the Food and Drug Administration of the United States Government.

It is time for you to have the supply of insulin needed to cover the demand of the Type I diabetics. This is a disease that they have no control over. They are born with a pancrease that does not allow them to make insulin.

While we all know money drives the world, you would think that you in this industry that have made your billions, would be concerned that people that do no get their insulin will die and would be more concerned about human beings and not the almighty dollar.

For all people that have someone that is effected by this please sign and share. It is time to take care of our own by asking the government and these companies why they are creating a shortage in insulin.

I am asking all citizens to sign this petition. I will be delivering this to the companies listed and to Congress through whatever avenues I have to go through. It is time for Big Pharma to put the person before the money. It is also time for the FDA to monitor this situation for the lives of the diabetic.
