Can you imagine being a vulnerable child and taken from your family and can't go home because of legal technicalities? How about being  away from your parents as a child and you have no way to talk  to them or see them when ever you wanted to and you can't understand why. My introduction into the world of child welfare was being hired  as a reunification case manager  and to be honest I had no idea what was in store for me. 

In the world of child welfare, children need caregivers to provide structure and discipline in ways that promote child safety and there is no structure more sound than that given to us than Gods 10 commandments. The new generation need  to be taught these basic instructions in a system that is aligned and supported.Too often have I seen licenced caregivers do a disservice to Young people and their lives by failing to provide the knowledge of God and how he wants his children to behave. If the system is going to continue to remove children from their families than it is in the states best interest to have licensed caregivers aligned with the structure and discipline being provided to the new generation.There needs to be guidelines requiring caregivers in the state to provide sound structure that can be utilized as standard across the state. 

Without caregivers to provide structure and discipline in ways that promote morals and knowledge of God, the habits and destructive behaviors these traumatized youth pickup while in care get  carried with them into their adult lives making all of our lives in the community at risk and in danger. 

Our judicial system requires the people to testify before God, I believe it is only right legislation mandates licensed providers teach children the basic instructions before leaving care.
