As a group, We have been in school and experienced many students using vaping devices during class and in the bathroom. We have also seen the affects of vaping through some of our closest friends. It can cause fatigue, headaches and nausea. We also have yet to find out the long term effects of vaping, which causing some worries. 1.63 million high schools use vaping devices and around 500,000 middle schoolers do as well. As a group, we are proposing a bill to the Columbus City Council to make it mandatory to have electronic smoke detectors in every bathroom. We will look to install these into Columbus Public Middle and Highschools.
