Telethon Park has always been a central hub for family picnics, casual meetups, and community events, yet it's noticeably missing something vital for many of our younger community members - a playground. As it stands, many kids in our neighbourhood lack a nearby place to play and explore. 

Currently, the two playgrounds suggested by the City of Stirling present challenges. One is too far for young children to walk to, and the other lacks a footpath, making it difficult and unsafe for families who rely on walking. Our children deserve better, and it's crucial we provide a safe, accessible, and fun play space that caters to all in our neighbourhood.

Installing a playground in Telethon Park would not only offer kids a closer and safer place to engage with friends and neighbours but would also enhance the park's appeal, making it a vibrant focal point for our community gatherings.
