My family and I live in a neighborhood that, while designed to be peaceful and safe for its residents, has unfortunately become a regular shortcut for speedy drivers going from a nearby suburban town to the city. This habitual speeding is not just a minor annoyance but a grave safety concern, with several accidents having already occurred as a result. Our once-calm streets are now a platform for risk, and the danger it imposes on everyone, particularly children and the elderly, is unacceptable. It's imperative that we take immediate action to address this pressing issue.  It is difficult for residents to pull out of our driveways due to speeding and drivers typically blow and speed by without providing ample time to back out and continue.
