I reside near the intersection of Highway 8 and Branchton Road, a location renowned for being hazardous due to the high number of accidents and being a busy intersection . These incidents are predominantly brought about by the reckless disregard for the speed limit by many motorists commuting through this intersection. As someone who personally encounters these risks daily and as many other local residents , I can attest to the immediate need for safety improvements in this area. Among the plausible solutions that can remarkably improve road safety is the installation of lights at this intersection. 
Therefore, I urge:

Local officials and community members to come together to push for the installation of lights at the intersection of Highway 8 and Branchton Road as an effective method to increase safety and reduce traffic accidents.
