**Personal Story**

Living at our student apartment complex should mean easy access to our homes, but for too long, we’ve faced the daily struggle of finding parking close to our apartments. I moved here believing that the convenience of living at a student apartment complex came with perks, but parking has become a significant daily challenge. And it's not just me—every resident here at University Edge faces the same frustration.

**The Problem**

Currently, Uedge offers unallocated parking spaces, which means students returning from late-night study sessions, work, or social activities often find themselves parking far away from their buildings. This situation doesn't just inconvenience us; it adds unnecessary stress to our already busy lives. Additionally, the lack of assigned parking detracts from the sense of security and community we should foster in a student living environment.

**Proposed Solution**

To address this issue and improve the quality of life for all residents, we propose that the management institute an assigned parking system. Each housing unit should have designated parking spots that equal the amount of people in each unit. This policy will simplify parking logistics, enhance security by reducing the need for residents to walk long distances at night, and increase the overall satisfaction and safety of the community.
