Living in Henderson, Nevada, our downtown recreational center is more than just a gym; it's a community hub where we nurture our physical well-being and connect with one another. However, we feel that our facility could make even greater contributions to our fitness journeys with the addition of more exercise equipment.

Currently, the rec center's gym lacks a comprehensive range of machines that many of us utilize in our personal workout regimes. Specifically, there is a noticeable absence of certain machines that are often considered essential for a balanced workout, such as a back extension, leg curl/extension, kickback glute machine, dip and pull up, butterfly, and seated row machine. These machines are invaluable for strength training, cardio workouts, and comprehensive fitness routines. Installing this equipment can maximize the center's utility for current members and attract new ones.

According to a CDC study, around 60% of Nevada residents were not meeting the recommended exercise levels pre-pandemic. Having more equipment could help improve these statistics significantly, promoting a healthier lifestyle. Moreover, increasing gym equipment availability can potentially reduce the waiting times significantly, making workout sessions more efficient and enjoyable for everyone. This addition aligns with our city's commitment to fostering a healthier, more active community.
