As someone who works at Little Picasso Daycare & Art Center in Dartmouth (612 Windmill Rd, Dartmouth, NS B3B 1B5), I see firsthand the challenges families face every day when entering and exiting our daycare. Our centre is located on a busy road, and during drop-off and pick-up times, traffic can make it difficult and stressful for parents with young children.

The lack of a traffic light or other traffic control measures at our entrance makes it difficult for vehicles to safely enter and exit the property, creating ongoing safety concerns for everyone using the daycare.

We are requesting that the appropriate authorities conduct a traffic safety assessment to evaluate the need for a traffic light or other improvements at this location.
