I believe that a skate park in the Irwin or North Huntingdon area can be extremely beneficial. This can make a great impact because a centralized place for skateboards, bikes and rollerblades can help build a skating community, encourage fun exercise for the youth, and is less dangerous for skaters. It also means skaters in Irwin can go more frequently and save gas money considering there are currently no skate parks in the area. A lot of kids have something they can ride lying around at home, so I believe it would be a great opportunity for the youth and even adults.
