E Main between Hilldale Dr and 127 Bypass does not have a sidewalk despite the high foot traffic through the area. As a result, people are forced to walk in or very close to the road where they run the risk of being hit by speeding cars (Yes! People speed and drive distracted here). I have personally spoken to Mayor Senn about the issue and he has offered to make a meeting with the DOT to help get this off of the ground. The project would be completely funded by a DOT grant, (thats how the sidewalk infront of the Ingles and Goodwill were funded) and would cost ZERO Dollars to taxpayers.

This change must happen before it is too late and someone is seriously injured or killed. There have been stories of the elderly falling into the road due to this. I kindly ask you to sign this petition and help bring this issue into a bigger light.
