Install a memorial bench for Dylan Robinson in Lisburn

On the first anniversary of my son Dylan's passing, I, Peter Tazzioli , reached out to the local council with a heartfelt request. I wanted to honour Dylan's memory by installing a memorial bench in a peaceful location in Lisburn, like Wallace Park, where he was well-known and loved by the community. However, to my dismay, my proposal was turned down flat. This petition is an appeal to grant Dylan the recognition he deserves while also bringing comfort to those who cherished him.
At its core, this is not just about granting my grieving family a place to reflect; it is about raising awareness for mental health and suicide prevention—a cause that is sadly all too relevant in Lisburn. In Northern Ireland, approximately 1 in 5 adults are affected by mental health problems, and the suicide rate remains a critical concern.
