Recently on Instagram, people have been using the hashtags #bts, #infinite, #kai, #exo, #v, #redvelvet and etc (anything kpop related) to post inappropriate images which is classified as nudity and pornography. This has caused an outrage in the community because there are young users (under the age of 18) who go through these tags on a daily basis, only to find images of disgusting, provocative images which do not belong there. Not only the younger members are disturbed, but also the older members of the community find this extremely vile. We do not want to scroll down the tag, in fear that we will have to see these images. These tags are meant to catergorise the images that the K-pop community posts. When we search up these tags, we want to see Infinite, BTS, Redvelvet and etc, not images that are completely unrelated, carnal, and erotic. These images violate the guidelines of the instagram community and should not be tolerated. We do not want to report every photo individually for the sake of the younger users of this application. If this continues to happen, the Kpop related tags will be blocked just like the nudity, pornography tags have been blocked. Those images do not belong in the Kpop tag and should have never been there in the first place.
