Bring @velvetcoke back!

Bring @velvetcoke back!
The Issue
My Instagram account @velvetcoke has been disabled by Instagram.
As an account focused on nostalgia and pop culture, I have consistently brought incredibly sourced images and videos to all 945K of my followers for 3 years. Publications and websites like Vogue, Marie Claire and Harper’s Bazaar have featured my content or interviewed me, proving that my posts have worth beyond just being a “throwback photo”. I also frequently collaborated with @thefacemagazine and @treytylor on a weekly column called Hollyweird, where I shared incredible stories about celebrities that were either unknown or forgotten. It started at @interviewmagazine in 2017, went to @papermag and is now at The Face, the iconic British magazine that published the very first images of Kate Moss.
Having @velvetcoke has been one of the most incredible ways to connect with people, and out of it I have come to make some amazing friendships with people from all over who have kept me going. To get a bit personal, having this account and connecting with so many of you has been one of my only escapes from a stressful daily life and a battle with health problems. I am heartbroken that that has been taken away from me and now find myself unsure of what to do without it. This sounds cheesy, but having @velvetcoke and being able to chat with so many people, achieve my dreams and express myself has really been important for my mental health too and I’m scared of what will happen without that.
In three years I’ve gained almost a million followers. Those aren’t just numbers, it was a place where a million people with a burning passion for everything vintage felt free to enjoy past events and feel like themselves. It was an honor having so many people tell me I brighten up their day with a pic, make them smile or make them feel welcome.
I’m not sure where to go from here, but I really hope this isn’t the end. I’m asking you to please help me restore my account by signing this petition. Maybe if Instagram sees it they will understand how much this means, not only to me, but hopefully to you if you’ve enjoyed following me from day one. Any help at all is so so appreciated and I truly hope you know how much time and love I have spent making @velvetcoke the best it could be. I hope I can do that again.
Thank you!
