Many accounts on social media are created to encourage/promote self harm, cutting and eating disorders. These accounts are often aimed at young people, already vulnerable and feeling the pressures of society to fit in. They include photos of unhealthy body weight or even photos of arms/legs that have been cut with blades and come with a trigger warning, which shows they know they can upset people. Accounts like this should be banned, with the people working on these platforms checking accounts that contain trigger words. I know personally, sadly, the effect these accounts can have on young people..its almost a community that support each other, and it needs to be stopped, because young people are seeing this as 'the norm' .

I don't believe all these accounts are genuine teenagers, they could be people with a hidden agenda, trying to lure young vulnerable people into talking with them, which could lead to other dangers. I have reported so many of these accounts that have trigger warnings on the bio, but for each 1 I do and is removed, another one is created in its place.

I feel more needs to be done to stop this kind of account being created/viewed. Giving tips on how to cut yourself and hide the cuts or how to starve yourself so no-one notices is NOT acceptable or healthy and this needs to change
