NO "auto-strafe" in Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart

NO "auto-strafe" in Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart

The Issue

Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time, was the last game to let you freely move and aim your weapon without an auto-strafe feature. You could even throw your wrench any direction.

But since Nexus and 2016, whenever you fire a weapon, it automatically strafes, giving you less control and wasting more time moving the camera.

If auto-strafe is, in fact, not included in the new PS5 game, Rift Apart, we can freely throw grenades and blast our enemies without even moving the camera. Taking care of enemies behind us while still looking and moving forward.

Although Nexus and 2016 were very enjoyable games, I always felt the control was off. Wrenches no longer went through enemies, everything took just a bit more time to finish, while all other aspects of the game rather improved, or stayed the same.

I'm unaware if Rift Apart will have auto-strafe or not, but just in case. I've opened this up. Thank you all very much.
