The Netflix Original show "Insatiable" unfortunately got canceled after its second season. This show is about the main character, Patty Bladell, who used to get body shamed and bullied for being fat, but after losing 70 pounds she is ready to get revenge on all her bullies, along with being a murdering Pageant Queen, however she does soon realize she has the Binge Eating Disorder (BED).

When watching this show, a lot of people had mistaken it as a show that promotes body shaming and the saying that only skinny people are beautiful. That is why it got canceled--because of all the controversy in the show and someone that made a petition to cancel it, that got more than 230,000 peoples' signatures. If one person's petition had enough power to cancel, maybe this petition could be the cause of its renewal for season 3. Most people got the wrong message from the show. The message that Insatiable was actually trying to tell is that the appearance of a person doesn't matter--only the inside of them does--their personality is what matters the most. Patty became skinny but it didn't change anything--the inside of her is not great still. When the character Dee came along, she also stated the fact that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, which I found very inspiring and amazing.

The first season came across to people as a bit of a mess, but the second season was a lot better, and has so much more potential. The ending left viewers off with a cliffhanger and there are thousands of people who love the show and want more of it, including myself. I just started watching the the show a few days ago, and am already done with it. It was amazing and has become one of my favorite shows, and it deserves another season. Netflix, if you see this, please give Insatiable its third season back. Us viewers deserve at least a proper ending, and I would be extremely happy if you just gave us at least ONE more season.

This show has actually helped many people that are similar to Patty and has a great representation of the Binge Eating Disorder. It was relatable and funny, and I will not just let it go and give up. Instead I will do something about this, as Netflix cancels many good shows that have so much potential and it is unfair. All in all, please sign this petition and share it with your friends in hope that Insatiable could have a third season. Let's get it to 200,000 signatures everybody! We can do this!
