Most assume that when they purchase a newly built home, it will meet the Ontario Building Code (OBC) - and many homes do. But, unfortunately, there are far too many times when they do not. Then the "fun" often starts - e.g., denial and cover-up, often leaving the homeowner "stuck" with OBC violations. Let's get more signatures on this petition for an Inquiry! While this petition relates to certain HVAC systems, if this Inquiry is properly conducted, it will help to ensure that the OBC is enforced generally. #EnforceTheOntarioBuildingCodeNOW
