If the Government of Ontario appropriately conducts this Inquiry, it might reveal that Tarion is in possession of expert reports that say that these systems do not meet the Ontario Building Code, but did not take adequate steps to warn future purchasers and new home builders. As we await Minister Mauro's decision regarding whether he will commission this Inquiry, Justice Cunningham also has an opportunity to address Tarion's role in this through his Tarion Review!
