Innocent man, currently serving life in prison is desperately seeking freedom!

The Issue

I'm writing this with tears in my eyes. It's hard to maintain my emotions whenever I approach this very sensitive subject. When I think of the unfortunate plight of a man. A man I know all too well. He's someone who desperately needs your help. An innocent man. Misidentified. Falsely arrested. Was threatened with and WAS facing death penalty. Wrongfully convicted. Unjustly handed a life sentence. All of this and yet he still has never given up or lost hope. He's currently in prison right now fighting for his freedom and another chance at life. By the way, the person I'm talking about is me! TUCK

It was a Sunday evening, November 27th 2005 to be exact. That was the last day I was a free man. I was standing outside with a couple of friends when the police arrested us all at gun point. We were puzzled and startled as to what was happening and why. They drove us to a crowded crime scene to which an evewitness to an assault was recorded saying to the police that I was "not" the person he saw commit the crime. Yet and still I was taken into custody, questioned by detectives, and subsequently wrongfully charged.

My family and I were devastated! These are all crimes for which I had no knowledge of and had no part in whatsoever. While I was in the county jail I had to watch the news with everyone else just to find out what was going on. I was an innocent man then, and 18yrs later, I'm still that same innocent man right now today reaching out to you and praying for justice.
Since I've been in prison l've grown closer to God and through my spirituality, I've gained the strength to remain optimistic. I have chosen to push forward in life with purpose inorder to find meaning in this difficult circumstance I'm enduring. I find joy in giving hope to others in prison and in knowing I've had a positive effect on the lives of many who have been released back home to be with their own families again.

God has blessed me with a gift of writing and performing inspirational Hip-Hop music. So I have been using this gift of mines to lift up, give hope, and inspire countless others behind bars. But not just to those in prison with me, but also to those in the free world who have never seen the inside of these prison walls. God has used me to have such an impact behind bars that camera crews have came into prison on multiple occasions to record me and my music to put up on YouTube for the world to see. I was hand selected as the only Hip-Hop artist trusted to perform for the Director over all Ohio Correctional Institutions at the first annual Carlos Christian Walking Logo's graduation. I have been called on to perform for wardens, staff, and many outside guest visitors. I am grateful and humbled to have headlined as many special events as I have.

I am currently enrolled in Frankly
University to obtain my degree in Sociology majoring in Business management. I am also working on my degree in Christian Theology majoring in Biblical Counseling. I also have over 2,000 credit hours and counting towards becoming a Certified Dental Technician.
By the grace of God I truly have not given up! I am doing everything within my power to grow, advance, and prepare myself for a successful return back into society one day.

I am blessed to have a close knit team of people who believe in me, my innocence, and my situation enough to do whatever they can to help bring me home and exonerate my name. They also have been helping me put out my music and assisting in bringing about awareness of my situation. The platform they're providing me with highlights the positive work I've been doing behind the scenes all of these years. The work of Scott Budnick and Common to help bring rehabilitated inmates home, lower prison sentences, and bring about prison reform has been a big inspiration to my team and I. We hope they will also join us in our battle to overturn my wrongful conviction, if they see this.

The obstacle we're facing right now is having very limited finances. We are in need of donations of any kind (including sponsors) that we can use towards helping us in our fight for my freedom by way of proving my innocence.
We will use these funds to hire a Lawyer(s), procure a Private Investigator, and even an Independent Forensic Lab Specialist. Although the much needed help and support we need is financial, for the said reasons, there are still other important ways you can help with just one click of a button. One of these is by sharing my story with others on your own respective social media platforms.

Another major way you can join our cause is by supporting my music and social media sites by following Tuck Muzik page on Facebook. You can also stream and download all of my music on Spotify, iTunes and all major streaming platforms (Artist- TUCK [all caps]). I only have one song out at the moment. A tribute to a special man in my life who just passed away but I have so much great music ready to be released. Be on the lookout for those. You can also listen to and support my music on my YouTube Channel. We have a brand of inspirational Tuck Muzik merch which my team and I are hoping to launch soon.

It is extremely important to us that you please share my story with your friends, your family, and as many as you can on social media. Thank you so much for already making a difference in my life!
