The citizens of Madison Indiana request an injunction to stop the sale of E. O. Muncie School and all attached property for a period of 5 years from the date it is officially closed by Madison Consolidated Schools. We would request proof, at that time, that closing the school has both saved tax payers dollars and that MCS education has improved overall. We especially want proof that 5th graders are thriving as part of the Madison Consolidated Junior High School. We would also like to see if Anderson Elementary is meeting the needs of the students and community. I would like to make it clear that both the close and/or sale of said property is not sanctioned by the citizens of Jefferson County Indiana.
