I was born and raised in South Africa, a country known for its diverse cultures, wildlife, and breathtaking landscapes. Over the years, I've seen our nation struggle with a variety of socio-economic challenges. South Africa is my home, and its current state pains me deeply. Many South Africans are living in poverty. As per the World Bank, it is the most economically unequal country in the world, where the top 1% owns 70.9% of the nation's wealth. This status quo is not just unjust but is unsustainable.

We need to make a change. It is time that we as a society collectively work towards creating a just, inclusive, and prosperous nation that each South African citizen can be proud of. We are calling upon the South African Government to implement stronger policies aimed at reducing income inequality, improving infrastructures in marginalized communities, and advancing opportunities for quality education for all.
