The recent actions in Palestine, especially the deliberate targeting and starvation of innocent children, cannot continue with impunity. According to UNICEF, thousands of children are in dire need of assistance, suffering from severe malnutrition due to deliberate blockades which contravene international humanitarian laws. Despite this, world leaders turn a blind eye, failing to hold those responsible to account.

The International Criminal Court (ICC) has a mandate to prosecute individuals for crimes against humanity, yet there is a conspicuous lack of action when it pertains to arresting those already indicted for crimes related to the Palestinian conflict. The avoidance of enforcing ICC warrants, especially by countries claiming to champion human rights, is a grave hypocrisy that undermines the foundational principles of justice and accountability.

It is imperative to conduct a thorough ICC investigation into the complicity of world leaders who continue to support policies or actions that contribute to or enable the genocide of the Palestinian people. Such an investigation would reaffirm our commitment to international law and compassionate governance, ensuring that oppressive leaders cannot evade justice.

We must act not only for the justice of the Palestinian people but to uphold the integrity of our global community.
