I am voicing this petition as a weary member of Thunderchild First Nation in Saskatchewan troubled by the continuous actions of Chief Delbert Wapass. Allegations of corruption have riddled his tenure, instilling a sense of doubt in his leadership. As constituents of the First Nation, we have the right to demand transparency and accountability from our leaders. This petition seeks to rally support to initiate a class action lawsuit against Chief Wapass.

Drastic measures such as this are not our first choice but our forced response to a series of unsettling actions by Chief Wapass. The levels of reported corruption remain inconsistent with the values and principles of our community. We understand the serious implications of a class action lawsuit and only resort to this given the failure of different attempts to rectify the situation.
