The Issue

I am deeply impacted by what I see as substantial failings in the performance of Lieutenant Governor of Texas, Dan Patrick. I view his actions and approaches as dictatorial, archaic, lazy, and unfit for his role. In my opinion, Patrick has shown a consistent lack of research in the bills he has authored, with an apparent reliance on hired unqualified doctors, rather than actual medical professionals who’ve done the actual research. Furthermore, I have observed an alarming bias, with only voices from his friend circle allowed to testify in hearings, which belittles the democratic process.

The Lieutenant Governor has a responsibility to the people of Texas to ensure legislation is principled, well-informed, and unbiased. However, in my opinion, Patrick's practice of using unqualified doctors reflects manipulation and a disregard for due diligence. Additionally, his choice to only include views from his close circle compromises the fundamental principle of democracy - inclusive discussion. By suppressing diverse opinions, we risk undermining the basis of our governance.

The overwhelming evidence of bias, incompetence, and lack of transparency forces us to call for a vote of no confidence against Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick. It is crucial that we hold our elected officials accountable, to ensure they are acting in the best interests of the people they serve, rather than their own. Take a stand today by supporting this petition. It's time for a change in leadership that will advocate for transparency, accountability, and public interests. Sign this petition for a vote of no confidence against Lieutenant Governor of Texas, Dan Patrick.
