We live in times of unprecedented environmental disruption. Our climate change realities have been brought about by science deniers and corporations whose senior management knew that the continued use of fossil fuels would drive us to extinction - like that of the dinosaurs.

Recently KVOA television covered the ongoing battle between some of these science deniers and the rest of us. Christians Against Dinosaurs wants Roxy Rex, the Jurassic Park movie prop of a Tyrannosaurus rex, located at the McDonald's at the corner of Tanque Verde and Grant Road since 1994 removed. One of the members, Gerard James, said: "There is just no real proof for dinosaurs and we challenge anyone who will tell us we are wrong." 

Our petition serves as a reminder that we can all go the way of the dinosaurs without science, that the "inconvenient truth" of a sixth extinction is on our doorstep and that just because a group of flat-earthers want this treasured Tuscon icon gone we shouldn't allow it to happen.
