Dear petition signers, 5 years ago we started this petition (we hope you remember it). And thanks to your click, the total number of signatures counted up to over 42000! This, plus the many many comments, has moved the government who came to deliver the new criteria for "liquid" infant formula in summer 2018. The following March 2019, formula companies Glico and Meiji followed with their first-in-Japan ready-to-feed formula! Yay! The 2 products are so well selling that now another major company Yukijirushi has announced to join in! So, please let us hereby declare accomplishment of this petition campaign! Thank you very, very much for the signatures and the comments! Your signature has moved the government by letting them be aware of the strong needs of the initial period of parenting. We, Liquid Baby Milk Project, are happy to complete our mission soon, but will still be in action for the next year. Please let us know should you be curious about us, the formula, or the regulations etc. We wish all families in Japan, may they be feeding formula or not, feel safer and empowered by having ready-to-feed formula and feeling that the society cares for our babies.
