"On seeing the reaction of remainers and a feeling of personal cultural loss, on June 27, I began the process of petitioning Parliament for Individual EU Membership....." See petition below:
A choice for individuals who wish 'To travel/study/work ' for £4:50 week or any other amount deemed reasonable. It excludes public health and benefits, if no reciprocal arrangement by the EU. This is not designed to encourage mass migration, but to allow individuals, especially young people to persue visa free travel, to study and work in order to broaden their horizons, learn languages and foster good relations.
Petition as formatted by gov.uk to be included in the UK governments negotiations with the EU upon leaving the EU.
Five months after this proposal was started democratically in the U.K. via the gov.uk website, the European Parliament's top Brexit negotiator backed the idea of individual European Union memberships for Britons who want to stay in the bloc. Former Belgian Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt, in principle supported individual EU memberships for Britons, paid by annual fee. "Many say 'we don't want to cut our links'. I like the idea that people who are European citizens and saying they want to keep it have the possibility of doing so." Times.
At 10,000 signatures, government will respond to this petition, therefore regardless of actions from Brussels, the U.K. and change.org, it is advisable to sign the gov.uk petition prior to 25 January 2017 to ensure the matter is heard in Parliament.
