  • The Fashion Industry is one of the top contenders for negative environmental impact, accrediting to nearly 10% of the world's carbon emission production, 9.5 billion pounds of clothes tossed in landfills each year, and 3.9 billion gallons of water used to produce clothes every year. 
  • These statistics are staggering and unfortunately increasing as the years go on. 
  • As a newly environmentally-mindful generation, myself and others should be extremely aware of ways we can personally aid in the limitation of the environmental impact the fashion industry has every year. 
  • Personal changes like purchasing clothes from second hand stores, signing up for clothing subscription boxes or up-cycling clothes are a few ways you can help!
