I have a simple and basic appeal. Kindly allow all pensioners all over India to be able to prove that they are ALIVE to continue receiving their pensions through technology like "Video Calling". Why do they still have to visit their bank branches physically every year where they hold their pension accounts? Why physical visit os mandatory to prove that they are alive? 
We need to understand pensioners are old people, usually over the age of 60 years and may have various physical constraints to visit their home branch or any branch for that matter. Many pensioners may have moved to other cities as well. 

Lastly, during times such as these where Covid has restricted human movements across the globe why are we not using technology for our senior citizens to make their life little bit easier? Their pensions may be the only source of sustenance for many senior citizens. About time we bring this change in the system for them
