Increase Time Out from 15 min to 30 min for FIS Commercial Loan Servicing (aka ACBS)
Increase Time Out from 15 min to 30 min for FIS Commercial Loan Servicing (aka ACBS)
The Issue
Loan Operation professionals around the world were recently forced to deal with ACBS timing out after 15 minutes instead of 60 minutes.
The early timeout means just stepping away to make lunch or fill a water bottle and have a chat by the watercooler means you must log back in upon return to your workstation.
With an eight hour workday - the amount of time lost by being automatically logged off and having to log back in is a direct affront to the employers of these workers who are spending time logging back in rather than performing the actual functions of their job.
Additionally, the demands on Loan Operations professionals' time are such that not only do they spend extra time logging back in rather than doing their job, they sacrifice the other aspects such as lunch & filling water bottles & having chats by the water cooler(s), which means they are dangerously dehydrated and critically behind on asking about weekend plans.
