Our school athletics program is in need of more funds to provide student-athletes with the necessary resources to succeed and develop. Despite the inherent benefits that sports provide for young people – such as physical health, teamwork, leadership skills, and resilience – in recent years, our school's sports budget has not enough to meet the growing demand and cost of sport activities.

Studies have shown that students who participate in sports are more likely to have a higher GPA, better attendance, lower dropout rates, and improved likelihood of going to college (source: American Journal of Education). By not adequately funding sports, we are potentially missing an opportunity to significantly improve the educational attainment and life experiences of our young people.
