Recently I started going on walks around my area (Barrhaven East) when I started to notice issues I and others are facing constantly while trying to go on simple walks. Problems such as cracked sidewalks on almost every road, the fact that there aren't sidewalks on both sides of the road, and not enough space on the sidewalk for both bikers and walkers. All of these issues are decreasing the safety of the sidewalk a place that is supposed to be safe for walking. While this may seem like a small issue it's an issue that is always there. If we fix this issue then everyone will be able to walk comfortably with no disturbance and without being cautious most of the time. This is a perfect time to act since Wilson Lo is in charge of the Barrhaven East he can easily provide the necessary actions to fix this since he is already working towards fixing the cracked sidewalk issue.
