SCAD does not have enough 2D animation classes. 2D animation is SCADs biggest major, so you would think it would be easy to register for classes, but this is not the case. SCAD continues to accept more and more students into the major, even though they don’t have the proper amount of classes to accommodate for these students. 

Time and time again, class registration rolls around and animation classes are full before time tickets even open. It’s very frustrating for us animation majors to find a spot in the 2D classes we need, and it becomes even more frustrating when the department higher ups seem to not be doing anything about it, or are not being forward with us if they are doing something.

SCAD students pay a LOT of money for classes, and it becomes incredibly disappointing when our school doesn’t have the spots for us to take those classes. We need to let SCAD and the Animation department know that we’re fed up, and that this has been going on for too many quarters! We love what we do, but we need the classes to do it. Sign to join!
