I am a student attending Harry Ainlay High School and every day I face the same problem - finding a parking spot. With over 3000 students attending our school, the limited student parking area is simply not enough. It's unfair that we have fewer spots than the teachers when we outnumber them significantly.

The current situation forces many of us to park in unauthorized areas which often results in getting ticketed or towed. This not only wastes our time but also puts an unnecessary financial burden on us. We can't always arrive earlier due too unpredictable traffic or other commitments. Some of us have spares in the morning as well. This also disrupts our education. 

The staff is a part of school. Students are what make up the school, so they should be heard and accommodated for. Some of us do not have the luxury to be dropped off by a parent or even afford a 50$ bus pass every month. 

We propose that some of the staff parking spots be made available for students to accommodate our growing numbers and alleviate this issue AND/OR that the school starts making the field by the gym a NEW parking lot strictly for students.

The imbalance between teacher and student parking is evident and needs immediate attention. It's like the teachers only care about themselves and not how a student gets to school to recieve the education they need.

This isn't just about convenience; it's about fairness and equality within our educational institution. Let's make sure all students can get to class on time without worrying about where they'll park their car or if they'll get fined for it.
