Increase student access to study and meeting rooms at Leslie Dan Faculty
Increase student access to study and meeting rooms at Leslie Dan Faculty
The Issue
Students are running out of places to study.
Over the past few years, student-accessible study and learning spaces in our building have noticeably declined, especially following the expansion of Discovery Pharmacy. While several upper floors remain locked and unused, the few open study areas on the second and third floors are consistently overcrowded, often leaving students without a seat at all.
Study space is not a luxury — it is a basic academic need. With increasing class sizes, longer campus days, and limited alternative locations, students are being pushed out of spaces meant to support their success. This petition calls for the reopening and repurposing of unused floors and rooms into accessible study areas for students.
By signing this petition, you are standing up for equitable access to learning spaces and advocating for an environment that truly supports student success.
