I am a resident of Nabiac, NSW, and have personally experienced the fear and trauma that comes with being a victim of crime. A family member of mine house had been robbed and now find myself scared to venture out in public due to the increasing youth crime rates. This is not an isolated incident but a growing concern among many residents here.

Nabiac is a peaceful community that we love dearly. However, recent events have left us feeling unsafe in our own homes and neighborhoods. We believe that increased police patrols can help deter criminal activities and provide us with much-needed security.

According to the New South Wales Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research (BOCSAR), there has been an increase in property crimes such as break-ins over recent years within our region. This data further emphasizes the need for more robust law enforcement presence.

We understand that policing resources are stretched thin across many areas, but we firmly believe that prioritizing safety should be paramount. Our community deserves peace of mind when walking down our streets or leaving our homes unattended.

We call upon local authorities to increase police patrols in Nabiac, NSW - for us who live here every day under this cloud of fear, for those who have been victims like me, and for future generations who deserve to grow up without this constant worry about their safety.
