My family and I have always cherished our platinum holidays. The highlight of these trips is our favourite hotel, which we specifically chose because it offered an extra luggage allowance. This additional allowance has been a significant factor in our holiday experience, as it allows us to bring along the attire that matches the upmarket nature of these holidays.

However, we have recently noticed that this privilege has not been extended to match the recent increase in luggage allowances for other holidays. We believe this is unfair and inconsistent with TUI's commitment to providing premium services across all its offerings.

It's worth noting that according to ABTA (Association of British Travel Agents), 87% of UK residents took a holiday either at home or abroad in 2019 (ABTA Holiday Habits report 2019). A significant number of these travellers opt for platinum holidays and would benefit from an increased luggage allowance.

We are calling on TUI to review their policy regarding platinum holiday luggage allowances for all UK holidays, ensuring it aligns with recent increases implemented elsewhere. This change will enhance customer satisfaction and uphold TUI's reputation as a leading travel operator committed to meeting its customers' needs.
