As residents of a picturesque town located on a 30mph backroad in Durham, CT, we are increasingly concerned about reckless driving and littering that is spoiling the beauty and tranquility of our town. Cars are frequently speeding at over 70 mph, showing disregard for residents, pets, and pedestrians—including those walking with their babies—an alarming issue not limited to our street but prevalent across town.

Despite having a dedicated resident trooper, law enforcement appears inadequate to address this growing menace.
