Increase Indiana statute of limitations for all civil lawsuits from 2 years to 10.

Increase Indiana statute of limitations for all civil lawsuits from 2 years to 10.
Why this petition matters

Most injury victims in Indiana do not have enough time to sue those responsible. Statute of limitations to sue somebody who has stolen from or injured you is TWO years. Criminals love this protection and take full advantage of it, many even making a living stealing without consequence of a lawsuit or criminal charges.
Statute of limitations is meant to protect citizens from the government corrupting or planting false evidence for a crime. But in civil litigation there is no reason to protect the defendant from government corruption, and instead it robs the victim of valuable time needed to find evidence, a competent lawyer, and if needed, how to represent themselves. (This does take years in Indiana.)
Why this is important to me:
My wife and I are victims of a Trustee who stole everything from her leaving nothing. He is a millionaire who stole two million her mother left for her in investments. Due to negligence from attorneys she lost everything and the Trustee was never sued within the two years statute of limitations. When trying to sue that attorney for negligence, the new attorney didn't know the law needed to sue the previous attorney, then those statute of limitations expired. Attorneys in Chicago all laughed and said the case would had been easy to win, Indiana just has stupid injury attorneys. This is true. This is why Indiana needs a proper amount of time to give citizens a chance to sue those who cause them injury. There are many attorneys who do not fear being sued for negligence because they know nobody can sue them on time.
