Most people either have a mental health disorder, or know someone who does. For urban area's there are plenty of mental health providers, but in Salisbury and the surrounding Wicomico County you could be waiting more than a month to see a professional. The Wicomico County Health Department currently is capped at their client to therapist ratio and are not accepting new clients or wait-listing anyone. 

With enough signatures, we hope to change policy regarding the budget of the Wicomico County Health Department, specifically their mental health division, so that they can hire more mental health professionals and provide services to more of our community.
