As a lacrosse coach in our city for the past five years, I've witnessed firsthand the positive impact that lacrosse has on our youth. It is more than just a game; it has served as a conduit for local kids to gain access to higher educational opportunities, including superior secondary schools and esteemed universities.

Today, we are stepping forward to urge the city’s park administration to incorporate lacrosse lines into the Champions Field. This addition will not only legitimize the sport within our community but also resonate with the global recognition lacrosse is receiving as it is featured in the forthcoming 2028 Los Angeles Olympic games. It is our responsibility as ambassadors of the game to welcome the sport to Los Angeles properly. Furthermore, having our dedicated lacrosse markings will provide a safe, designated space for both kids and adults in Inglewood to practice and play this growing sport.

The field lines will be inclusive of all sports.

Girls Lacrosse - Orange/Red

The rise of lacrosse in our community represents an opportunity to foster a sense of unity, enable healthier lifestyles, and perhaps most importantly, provide our youth with positive pathways in life.
