Keep animals with their disabled owners. No matter where they live.

Keep animals with their disabled owners. No matter where they live.
The Issue
I think people should legally be allowed a support animal, even in communal accommodation to help them with their disabilities. Be it mental or physical and/or emotionally.
The Law needs to be made legal for people in communal areas to have a support animal as well. If we win, then it helps people a great deal.
And if you lose, this can sadly make people go down hill and make them more poorly to the point of suicide. Plus sending support animals away when they have done nothing is wrong and putting them down because no else wants them is also wrong. I believe that animals have a right to live just like we do as humans, if not more than.
Animals should also be classed as family, not as an object or item and they should have more people fighting for their rights. It's not right that one person has to have their support removed when they haven't caused no harm. It's not right at all. As a matter of fact it's just downright criminal and it is unnecessary bullying.
Yes disability can be a taboo subject and from a young age, we’re often told not to look or ask questions – and we sometimes base our perceptions on misleading stereotypes.
Stigma and lack of understanding often leads to disabled people feeling left out or isolated and that is where an animal would come in as their love and loyalty can help fill in a lot of gaps.
Challenging your own perceptions and having a conversation – with your friends, family, neighbours, landlord/s or children – to raise awareness about disability and loneliness can really help.
Having a pet can encourage others to think about how inclusive they’re being. It will also help to get rid of some of the awkwardness that we can feel and it would help make sure no one feels left out of life. Be they owner or pet.
No it's not just about disabilities. It's mental health and the fact that animals can make us feel safe emotionally, physically and mentally depending on what the person has gone through. People (especially those in power) need to realize that not all disabilities are visible.
