Nous, soussignée, fans de musique rock et métal du Québec et d’ailleurs, demandons officiellement que le légendaire groupe SWORD, pionnier du heavy metal québécois, soit invité à se joindre au spectacle de Megadeth le 6 mars 2026 au Centre Vidéotron, à Québec.

Sword représente un chapitre important de l’histoire du métal au Québec. Leur influence, leur son unique et leur contribution à la scène musicale d’ici ont marqué plusieurs générations de fans. Leur présence à cet événement constituerait non seulement un hommage mérité à leur parcours, mais aussi un moment historique pour tous les amateurs de métal québécois.

Avoir Sword en première partie de Megadeth serait un geste fort qui célébrerait notre scène locale, tout en offrant une expérience inoubliable aux milliers de spectateurs attendus.

Nous demandons donc respectueusement aux organisateurs, promoteurs et responsables du spectacle d’envisager la participation de Sword au concert du 6 mars 2026.

PETITION FOR SWORD TO PERFORM AT THE MEGADETH SHOW — MARCH 6, 2026, CENTRE VIDÉOTRON, QUÉBEC

 

 

We, the undersigned fans of rock and metal from Québec and around the world, officially request that the legendary band SWORD, a pioneer of Québec heavy metal, be invited to join Megadeth for their concert on March 6, 2026, at the Centre Vidéotron in Québec City.

Sword represents an important chapter in the history of metal in Québec. Their influence, distinctive sound, and contribution to our local scene have inspired generations of fans. Their presence at this event would not only be a well-deserved recognition of their legacy but also a historic moment for metal enthusiasts across the province.

Having Sword as part of the lineup for the Megadeth show would be a meaningful tribute to Québec’s metal scene and would offer an unforgettable experience to the thousands of fans expected to attend.

We respectfully ask the organizers, promoters, and all parties involved to consider adding Sword to the March 6, 2026 Megadeth event.
