As a college student without a vehicle on campus, I am one of many who sometimes crave Waffle House but have no means of getting there. This is not just my story, but the story of countless others who lack transportation or simply prefer to stay in. The desire for Waffle House's comfort food doesn't adhere to conventional meal times; it can strike at any hour. Yet, the lack of delivery options often leaves us unsatisfied.

According to Statista, as of 2020, there were approximately 19.7 million college students in the United States alone. Many live on campuses where personal vehicles are not allowed or practical and rely heavily on food delivery services like DoorDash for their meals.

By including Waffle House in DoorDash’s restaurant list, we would be addressing an unmet need for millions across the country while also increasing revenue for both companies involved.

We urge DoorDash and Waffle House to consider this proposal seriously and make it easier for all those craving their delicious meals at any time of day or night to satisfy their hunger without leaving home.
