Being a preschooler is a magical time—full of discovery, growth, and giggles. At Fuzzy Caterpillar Preschool, kids have spent their early years learning, making friends, and preparing for what comes next. That’s why it feels disappointing to see children moving on to Transitional Kindergarten (TK) excluded from the preschool graduation celebration, simply because they’re not heading straight to Kindergarten.

The graduation ceremony at Fuzzy Caterpillar has always been a sweet tradition—a chance to celebrate how far the kids have come and to mark an important transition. But currently, only those going directly to Kindergarten are included. That means TK-bound children miss out on both the recognition of their growth and the opportunity to say goodbye to their preschool friends and teachers in a meaningful way.

Including TK-bound students in the graduation would make the event more inclusive and meaningful for everyone. It’s a simple way to honor all the children who are moving on from preschool and to give them the joyful send-off they deserve.
